Poem – Rose in Love

The Rose in Love

I bloomed beneath your golden gaze,
soft petals blushing in dawn’s embrace.
A whispering breeze, a lover’s sigh,
you traced my stem, your hands so shy.

I leaned toward you, the sun, my flame,
my crimson heart called out your name.
In trembling winds, I swayed, I spun,
for love had wrapped me, I’d begun.

But seasons turned, and winds grew cold,
your touch grew distant, your hands let go.
Yet still, I stood, my petals torn,
for love once given is love reborn.

I do not wilt, I do not fade,
though love may leave, its roots remain.
For even if my petals fall,
their scent will linger—love is all.
